lol yeah, zero leverage

- everyone knows Luongo will only waive to Florida
- everyone knows Luongo HAS to be out of here by the time training camp starts

Tallon can just offer a 7th rounder and say take it or leave it :P

would take the 7th rounder now

His first run in Vancouver he single handidly got us in to the 2nd round. Last couple of years, while not THE problem, was PART of the problem. Felt like every shot was going to go in, he loses all his composure and looks so shaky. He needs playoff confidence, hope he finds it elsewhere. I'd be happy to see him win a Cup elsewhere.

I think his post-season struggles have been a bit over-exaggerated.

- In his 1st year he was lights out against Dallas in the first round and Anaheim was just too good in the second

- In the 3rd year (after missing playoffs in the second) he was fine vs. St. Louis but wasn't great vs. Chicago

- In the 4th year he was fine vs. LA but wasn't great vs. Chicago

- In the 5th year he was average in the first two rounds, great vs. San Jose, then probably below average vs. Boston

- In his 6th year (this year) even Schneider couldn't save us because of our terrible offense.

He was only "bad" in 3 of the 11 rounds he's been in. Even in the Boston one you could make the case that he was actually decent, but we couldn't score worth a damn (same thing vs. LA this year). We scored 8 goals in 7 games and he got two shutouts.

Just some obvious meltdown downs and bad interviews/quotes did him in.

he'd be a perfect fit in chicago, great d. big playoff performers

would feel good when chelsea dagger comes on^^

he ends up being the part of a problem considering how it works out when your stars disappear and d is mediocre

his puppy eyes almost makes me cry 24/7

All that said, Schneider is still the better goalie (as long as he can prove he can do it as a starter, which I have full confidence in :P).

I disagree with a lot of your "fine against" assessments lol. I think we've underexagggerated his poor post season play, not over exagerrated it.

Under? lol

He's known as a hard choking dog all around the hockey world... how much more can it be exaggerated?
