Interviewer: Hey Gionta, Do you think a fresh start in St Louis will do you better?
Gionta: Yes. I love Montreal, but I feel it is time for a change. I respect my old GM Kira1 for giving me this new opportunity in St Louis.
Interviewer: What will you miss most about Montreal?
Gionta: To be honest, I'll never forget that day when Scott Gomez scored his first goal in over a year! We went out that night, and partied til the sun came up. I'm going to miss those guys.
Interviewer: One last question Brian, Any plans for future moves? Or do you think St Louis will help you over your hump this year?
Gionta: I'm going to try and get over my little hump. I feel really good here in St Louis. Our GM WilsonSmith seems like a great guy! Right when I flew in, he greeted me with a solid handshake, and a few kind words. I kind of wish he had greeted me with reimbursing of this flight ticket though. This thing costed me like 4 weeks pay!
