They've been taking that money for many years now. As have the NFL and many other leagues and corporations. Should they give it all back as reparations for their complicity?


As I said, this has been happening for many years now. What is happening is nothing new, it's only new to you. If you think The NBA and leaders of other corporations haven't been playing to these rules ever since they started doing business with China, you are clueless. It was just kept from public discourse.

What ideals? Do you know how USA makes a lot of its money? Do you know some of the abhorrent things USA are doing on a daily basis?

No ones even asking that, but a situation has arisen where CHINA is attempting to interject their abhorrent moral standard and disgraceful view of free speech into US, not the other way around. US companies when faced with this should stand their ground to the ideals worth more than money.

No shit America has had a policy of supporting dictators and oppressive regimes at their convenience of security and economy, America first foreign policy, although was more nuanced & covert with soft power mostly in the past, is not new and will always be there, but this situation with China telling an American company to shut the fuck up and NBA listening is unique af. And in my opinion a turning point in the world if properly escalated.
