homophobic tendencies and intolenrance came up with christianity, the agyptians, greek or roman didn't give a shit. so why care, in 50 years or so it will not be anything special to express his or her sexuality as one wishes. sex is western countries is everywhere in the media but people feel pressured cause of that and cant really express what they want. you could go further in this thought with asian culture (for example) practiclly legalizing prostitution and sexual fantasies, but keeping them out of the media and commercials so it kinda stays real, without putting the general population under the always ongoing display of sex everywhere.
