tbf a guy like AD gets a tonne more flack for availability yet he has 4x the number of 67+ game seasons played or something?

Embiid was a whole lot more injury prone earlier in his career. But over the past three years (all years he finished top 2 in MVP voting), he has been relatively durable in comparison. Definitely less injury prone than AD over the last three years.

Embiid has been given a lot of rest days in recent years, not even necessarily injuries. But I think Nick Nurse is trying to change that as it's proven to have minimal impact on preventing injuries.

Most AD injuries are some soft tissue issue that randomly happen.

When Embiid is out lately it's usually some bad luck weird shit like Markelle Fultz breaking his orbital bone or getting elbowed by Siakam.
