That's tough with how insane Marte and Upton are playin, but I honestly think I would prefer the players on your side.

I cancelled it for now. I want Upton to show more consistency before I trade for him. He had a lovely April....May, not so much.

I say take it, right now if you have excess pitching.

You can't possibly expect him to hit 1.1 ops all season...He still has a .380 obp in May. That is great for him still. He has struck out less, and walked more so far in May. He is being inconsistent in better ways, the hits just aren't falling.

OBP is a category, but it's not what I'm entirely looking for. I'm last there anyway, so it's my 'given up catgeory' like saves this year. I'm more interesting in his average going back up and hitting more than 1 HR in a month. I sent a trade to the asshole with Harper for Harper vs YU+Taveras, and that will probably fall so then I might go back to Upton/Marte...but if I get Harper, I'm done. Lol.

You're not understanding...A high obp shows he is not swinging at garbage. Baseball is variation, a .300 hitter won't hit .300 every game all season. He may go 0/10 then 10/20. The fact that his obp is still high is a good sign that its not him that is performing worse, the results are misleading and will get better. He has 14 hr on the season, the power is obviously there. It's not like he got weaker once it turned May.
