as much as i liked gomes while he was here that is a bit over the top don't you think? lol yunel escobar is a special player in my opinion.

Hahaha idk I felt Gomes earned himself a spot at least for a little longer. He had 2hrs and 5rbi in 8 games which if he was hitting like that consistently over 51 games he would have the same number of hrs and rbis as Bautista. Not saying batting is all that counts but I think he deserved a little longer. I don't trust Escobar in shortstop. There's something wrong with him.

He is not a shortstop afaik.

I think you're right but I remember JF was going on and on about his versatility.

true, gomes did not deserve to be sent down but although yunel may be struggling offensively, his defence makes up for it , he can be a game changer on defence at times. his hitting will come around, he has long at bats with pitchers and forces them to make a lot of pitches to get him out.

Depends how desperate you are for pitching, and who else is available in FA...hes got a lot of work to do though, but in a few years he'll be up there

RP spot that is eligible as a SP lost neftali and looks like only a matter of time before aroldis is disciplined or worse

Yeah, cumulative season rotisserie?
As long as they arent stupid stats like Wins/Losses etc, grab Liriano, unless he completely implodes his next couple of starts, I would try Bard before I go Hutchison...but Hutchison is definitely > the rest of those guys you listed
