I have a 2wire wireless router for att u-verse that is just not good. (No n-connectivity/poor range etc) Through work I got an epic deal on a Netgear WNDR3700 and I would much rather use that.

There is no DSL port on the netgear. If someone can walk me through how to turn off the wireless or something on the 2wire and use it basically as a modem and use the netgear as my wireless router I will donate some fg.

I know a great walkthough, but alas, I'm not allowed to provide links to websites because I'm a very bad person. So you'll have to find it yourself. But what you want to search for is "2wire MODELNUMBER bridge mode" and replace MODELNUMBER with your model number.

You'd need to turn your router into an access point/bridge mode. Need the model number to give you the exact way to do it.
