I don't think ATT would allow you to do that, as it's normally not something you can do on ISP supplied routers. Why would you want to change your mac address? it won't change your external IP unless it's dynamic.

Again that would only happen if you have a dynamic IP, but I don't think you're able to access the ISP supplied router, unless you received the login details with the receipt after getting the router installed.

I can access the router through the address bar but can't find where to change it once im there.

You don't understand. Changing your router's mac address would mean it wouldn't coincide with the IP granted by your ISP, meaning your internet wouldn't work unless you got a hold on your ISP. Your best bet would be calling your ISP and having them changing it. That's the safest way to do it, at least I can't tell you how to do it manually both because I don't know the layout of the interface, and I don't think it's something you should do yourself.
