My windows keys, and @, are disabled.

I've looked at my device manager and it just says HID Keyboard Device, nothing about a logitech g110.
Never installed the software, if that matters.

Every other key works, 1234567890 ! # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + ... but the @ and windows key don't work, except at very random times.

I noticed this problem after I began using d2nt, that's the only thing I can think of?

Is there some kind of like device mapping... keybind function.... thingy... command I can look at to see if the keys disabled?

Well, intermittent keys are either broken keys or a driver issue...try re-installing the keyboard software and see if that doesn't help.

I never installed the software in the first place.

CD tray is busted.

I could try and take out the cd drive, insert the software, and install it, if that would begin to diagnose the problem??

Try keyboard on different computer, see if it has same problem there. If it does, it is damage to the keyboard. If it works there, you have a software problem on your computer.

Like I mentioned before uninstall keyboard driver, unplug keyboard / plug it back in. See if that will work, and if you have the keyboard software install it, it will work better than the generic windows driver that its currently using. It sounds like a driver issue seeing how your key functions fine for using shift and using it to type "2".

valco helped me fix the windows key, and i should be ashamed of myself. i flicked the "gaming mode" switch to "on".

:wallbash:

the @ key is still working, only whenever the hell it feels like.
i'll try installing the software if i can get the disc tray to open - be back.

I unplugged the kb, rebooted normally, plugged it back in at the login screen, and so far have had no problems.

Really confused but for now it appears to be fixed.@@@
