Lets see if u nerds can come up with something I haven't come up with

Computer: Dell Inspiron 6000
Specs: PoS and 256MB Ram

Current Issues: Horiztontal Line on BIOS and in OS

About: Laptop had these issues before I started messing with it!!!

Flashed BIOS
Re-installed Windows XP Professional x86
Installed Drivers in Order from Dell Website
*** Running in BEST PERFORMANCE aka NOT adjusted for Best Visual Appearance ***
---- Kept having Issues being able to STAY in XP ---
** Installed INTEL's newest driver for their integrated graphics (915/950M or something similar) * if you want to know just ask*
---- Stays in XP longer than with Dell's Graphics Driver ---
Still have the same issue with BIOS/Staying in XP

When I am in XP I get bluescreened within 5-10 Minutes.
This is NOT an scvhost issue.

I've narrowed it down to Hard Drive/Memory/Monitor

What are your thoughts and/or next steps?

check temps, scan ram

temps checked, all under 40
what should i scan ram with? memtest isn't the best i've heard
anything bootable would be preferred

Oh here's the problem.. GET A NEW LAPTOP.
