Recently got a new computer and two monitors.

The first monitor (which I'm using now) is connected using the WHITE ended cord.

It is working fine, and I used the blue cord to connect to the second monitor.

It says it is connected on the monitor, but no signal.

When I go to detect the monitor on the computer, it says it only detects one monitor, not two.

What is the issue? Assistance for this issue will get the rest of my FG.

Here is what it looks like behind my desktop:

plug both monitors into your gpu, 1 is in the gpu and 1 is in the onboard graphics.
use a hdmi cable near the white cord to connect the other monitor

If you want to keep that setup then do this:
If combining the on board Intel® HD Graphics with a external PCI/PCIe video card, Windows will allow using the two graphics controllers at the same time, but the only dual display mode available is "Extended desktop". If you are looking for other dual display options like "Clone display" then it will be necessary to connect the two monitors into one of the graphics solutions, the on board or the video card so Windows will give you the dual display modes available depending on the graphics adapter.

In order to accomplish this, the most important thing is to change some settings on the BIOS. Please go to the configuration tab>video>integrated graphics device> set to “always enable”

Regards.

The blue one is connected to your motherboard. The white one is connected to your graphics card. You need to get a second cord to connect to your graphics card. From what I can tell, it looks like there is an HDMI next to it. I would recommend getting an HDMI cord and connect your second monitor up that way next to the white connector on the graphics card. I would not recommend getting an adapter for the blue cable (VGA->HDMI) as you will probably lose quality due to the outdated VGA cable.

and then THROW AWAY THE BLUE CABLE CAUSE IT'S LIKE 8 YEARS OUTDATED

I had this issue, unplug it and ug it back in a fewtimes.

Go to display settings and make sure its actually activated, one screen could be disabled by default.

Problem is, my monitor doesn't have an HDMI plug. Neither of them do, they're the same exact monitor.

Rightclick desktop, click display settings, advanced options.

If it shows 2 screens in there then it recognises theres a second screen its just not booting on.

If it doesnt show 2 screens go woth what the other guys are saying

What do I do if my computer only has one place for the white plug to plug into...
And my monitor only has white and blue plugs, no HDMI.
