Can't playback H.264 because your comp is too slow? Can't playback high resolution stuff either? Fear not, CoreAVC will help!-------------------------------------------------------------
1 . Install CCCP and follow the guide in the post above. [Again, skip this step if you already have CCCP installed.]
2. Download CoreAVC
3. Unzip CoreAVC and follow the instructions given in the "Read me how to install.txt."

uncheck the following 2 boxes.
[Note: ONLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO INSTALL CoreAVC! Ignore everything that mentions K-Lite. K-Lite is a VERY problematic codec pack.]
4. Once it is installed, go to "Start > All Programs > Combined Community Codec Pack > Filters > "FFDShow Video Decoder Configuration"

7. Check to see if you are actually using CoreAVC. Open a H.264 encoded video file, right Click inside the player, and go to "Filters," and see which is decoding your H.264 video.
[Check with the one corresponding to your player]
8a. If you see either of these, then you are using CoreAVC

8b. If you see either of these, then you have messed up somewhere. Try again from step 1.

10. Profit!
Generally, if your computer CAN handle H.264 without using CoreAVC, I suggest that you DO NOT use CoreAVC because FFDShow does give a slightly better picture.
