he made kabuto undo all of the edo tensei summons... since he's one of them, he got unsummoned as well

still dont understand why he didnt unsummon all the bad guys only. Use the good guys to win the war then unsummon

The same reason when Itachi got hit with shisui's eye's genjutsu he didn't only get unsummoned.. because you need to unsummon them all to unsummon one. (assumption)

He used izanami on kabuto because he wanted teach teach him a lesson ...eventually, kabuto will break free and itachi was counting on it.

Also, i was thinking the same thing as zipper, it's all or nothing which would explain why he couldn't unsummon just Itachi..

he couldnt unsummon him because itachi "unplugged" himself out of kabutos control. And thats really bullshit idea if u have to unsummon all

edo tensei has weaknesses....if someone falls out of kabuto's control, then he can't really do much about it (like in the case of madara who manually broke the control)... in the case of itachi, itachi was under a genjutsu so he was still bound to kabuto's seals/summoning/unsummoning... it makes sense that the summons are all connected though because it explains why kabuto couldn't unsummon him since it would affect the war plans

Wrong.. Itachi never broke control.. he cast a genjutsu on himself to protect the leaf, which was being attacked by the edo tenseis (along with the other nations, but yeah..)
Not really a bullshit idea.. was just the jutsu's effect.. the only person who "broke out of kabutos control" did so as the jutsu disolved.. that was kind of a "bullshit idea" although we knew from scene one madara was not going to go away so easily after just being summoned and all the hype of his strength.. at least it wasnt something retarded like "sharingan break edo tensei jutsu"

He didn't want to "teach kabuto a lesson" so to speak.. or at least thats not how I recalled it.. He was so sure Kabuto would not accept the truth that he knew his jutsu would work perfectly since his eyesight was sealed (can't use tsukinomi to find out how to undo edo tensei) and he obviously wasn't going to kill kabuto and make all the edo tenseis unkillable until sealed.. kabuto had to be kept alive and he had to undo the jutsu.. so izanami put kabuto into a "submissive" state while trapped in the illusion that itachi could gather all the information needed and control him as needed.

1. why do you wait 10+ hours later just to reiterate what i said.
2. yes he did want to teach kabuto a lesson... you should read the manga before you start disagreements especially if you're unsure of what actually happened...you're one of those people who are passive readers rather than active ones.
