nightmare on elm street has always been my favourite; a monster who invades your dreams is just terrifying. alien is probably number 2. for a dude in a rubber suit, that was scary. but i'm not interested in rewatching it because of how slowly it moves along.

im not huge into horror and i dont watch much that came out in the past 15 years or so, so i'm sure i'm missing out.

if the first is with the guy in 24 and the latter has samuel jackson telling a guy someone drowned in his chicken soup, then i've seen them both. they're not bad, and i do prefer the supernatural horror, but i wouldn't put them on my top list. the thing, mist, hellraiser, sixth sense, exorcist, shining, psycho, aliens, and predator are the ones i can think of which i enjoyed more.
