it's very good. Be careful reading this thread for spoilers about the pilot because it is technically out yaknow.
anyway i'll definitely rewatch the episode on the 14th when the episode airs on television. theres a fuck load of information to get used to in this show, seems like it will probably get pretty political. personally i like that about it, but the first episode didnt spare any action or tension.
childhoods end looks alright, with defiance and falling skies already kinda filling that niche i havent been nearly as excited about it as all the outer space shows. Ascension was really fucking good, but imo the problem with it was sustainability. it got reviews just as good as killjoys and dark matter but those two were instantly green lit for season 2. i wanted to see where ascension went really badly, but if it was gonna go to shit ild almost rather have it dropped and remember it as something amazing.
edit... thats not true i want more Ascension, i'll take whatever i can get

ya there hasnt really been any aliens in any of syfys new space operas i didnt realise that until u said something
that said technically there are humans that are from different planets, technically they would be aliens right?
kinda funny side note the only two alien shows syfy came out with: Hunters and Childhood's End, are about aliens on earth
