So I am recently getting into Woody Allen movies and so far I have seen Annie Hall and Manhattan. I really enjoyed both (particularly Annie Hall) and am looking for other movies by him to watch.

Now, I could just go to IMDB and go down the list but I thought I'd ask for input from you guys.

He's easily one of the greatest directors in film history, as well as the greatest screenwriter to come out of the states - particularly when it comes to writing female characters.

I could sit here and recommend 30 of his films, but it'd be easier to tell you which to avoid and which are essential.

Avoid

Everyone Says I Love You (1996)
The Curse of the Jade Scorpion (2001)
Hollywood Ending (2002)
Anything Else (2003)
You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (2010)

Essential

Interiors (1978)
Stardust Memories (1980)
Hannah and Her Sisters (1986)
Radio Days (1987)
Another Woman (1988)
Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989)
Husbands and Wives (1992)

Of course, you should watch them all, regardless of what I say.

Stardust memories and radio days are about the only films I enjoy by woody I really dot enjoy his work :/ ........

Watched Crimes and Misdemeanors last night and it might be my favorite one so far. I'll watch either Stardust Memories or Zalig tonight (probably Zalig).

Watched Radio Days and Zelig today. Take the Money and Run should be done downloading in about 30 minutes so that's next.
