Since no one could get it. The movie was Soylent Green. The scene in question is when Edward G. Robinson aka Sol Roth goes to the government center for assisted suicide. It's a very memorable scene.

It's confusing that it the picture was (and this is) in vhs quality, since the movie is so popular :p

Nope but I recently saw that, was a pretty damn good non US released movie, had to go hunting for it on the internet after seeing a preview during an FX commercial. Don't know why they were advertising it since it never aired here.
