Thought it was a good introduction to a trilogy, hopefully it gets one.
Casting was great
Action was great
Some critics complained about the flashbacks, thought they were fine.
Weakest point was the pacing. It was nearly 4 hours long before final cuts which may be the reason for this, hopefully we get a director's cut version.
I liked Michael Shannon as Zod, just felt they could have made him into much more interesting of a character. No "kneel before Zod"

i hope so, i have got to be one of the few who couldnt care less about a movies length.
If you need to develop this character or flashback to this so i get or really grasp the feeling meant at the end so be it.
As far as im concerned the longer it is the better the investment.
90 minute movies are fucking lame
