If anyone successfully helps me figure this out I'd give them 100mil

I'm a top 10 WD but I can't play recently cuz my internet cuts out for like 1 second about once an hour. It's not my internet, its not my D3, its not Blizzard. It's 100% my computer... My comp is pretty much top of the line. I played for about a year without a single d/c due to my comp and now all of the sudden its constant.

Any input is appreciated. I plugged my g/f's laptop into everything I'm plugged in to and her's is fine but mine kept d/c'ing even on her set-up. So even swapping set-ups the d/c problem stayed only on my comp. Should I re-format? Should I mess with some settings? Should I take it in to get looked at?

I don't run wireless cuz I don't wanna play Hardcore with wireless, I hard-wire straight to the modem. I tried different LAN cables, same shit, d/c bout once an hour. It's an instant re-connect, it goes out for literally 1 second and them boom back online. I do use one of those all in one modem / router things cuz thats what my cable company they have to go with. It's never been a problem til now... All my roommates say they are fine.

Edit: thx zhou, ya I have a roommate who's semi good with comps and that was his first thought (to check all my driver updates) he said everything was up to date and looking good. As far as hard-drive I have a main drive 1TB normal hard-drive and then I have an SSD with D3 / windows on it.

Does your computer have the ability to wireless?

1) sounds like your network adapter is trippin out. you can try different drivers, but if you're using wireless i would suggest trying a USB adapter. they're about $10 and IMO better to try first then to "test-drive" other drivers.

2) if this problem is "recent," could be a windows update that messed drivers up. roll back (system restore) a couple weeks, and selectively install windows updates.

This is a good idea, I've had a fair number of updates recently.

The only thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is the possibility of your IP address renewing once every hour. It's a long shot, but it's possible it's forcing your computer to get a new address instead of keeping the one leased to it. Try assigning your computer a static IP address in the router's range.
