I believe your problem is windows - it randomly looks for wireless signals (even though you're connected to the internet) and when it does so, it lags your connection. I used to have this problem.
Let me find a solution for you quickly and see if that works.

If no other computer on the network is disconnecting and just the one is, it's not the modem. Or router.

Lol I already thought of that, called them up and had them come out here and replace everything :/

They said I have a brand new best state of the art one they have, but same shit....

it could be your power adapter. Similar thing was happening to me last month. if that's the case you can either get a new power adapter or call your Service provider and have them replace it. GL and stay safe

Hey man I had same problem. I got a new router and problem solved.

try this program called advanced system care . Since i use it , never have gotten internet problem .

i had a cable modem once years ago that would micro disconnect every 2 hours on the dot. When i called the cable company they said it had thousands of those little disconnects. sure enough i went and bought a new cable modem and the problem went away.
