So I finally received my parts and swapped everything over to the new case and installed the Hyper 212 Evo. I was previously using a Rosewill case that I bought in 2009. Yep, the case is 5 years old.

I absolutely love it. I love being able to tuck cables but it was still a bitch to close the back side panel. Hopefully the cables aren't being pushed too much to cause longterm damage. We'll find out soon enough lol.

I was averaging 25-28ºC idle temps with the stock cooler. Now I average 14-16ºC idle temps with the Hyper 212 Evo. I haven't gamed yet but I can post later if anyones interested.

Why flip the PSU? The picture doesn't show it but the case stands about an inch from the ground. There are 4 little pegs at each corner.

I don't care what the fans look like.

I don't care what the cable looks like.

I'm all about function and not form. Everything could be rainbow colored with a unicorn theme for all I care. As long as it does what I want.

Theres a reason there's a vent underneath the PSU mount. It lines up with the fan on the bottom of the PSU.

I just got done playing Diablo 3 for about an hour and a half. My CPU didn't break 32ºC as opposed to the nearly 60ºC it used to reach prior to the Hyper 212 Evo. I am VERY pleased.

I didn't get a windowed case to show off. I got a Corsair 450D and it just so happens it has a window on the side panel. I didn't even care for that.

That's funny because I've been running those orange STA cables since I got my case in 2009. Zero errors. Zero problems.

And how does the PSU not get enough air when the entire bottom of the case is vented for the PSU and 2x 120mm fans and lifted off the ground?

Like I said, I really don't care about other peoples opinions on my build. I just wanted to share as a fellow PC enthusiast. I didn't know I was gonna be put up on a stake to be burned like a witch.
