Step 1
- Are you buying in at least three days?

Yep.

PC Builds

- Budget: $500

- Zip Code or Location: Red white and Blue

- Specific Use: Game, general desktop.

- Any preferred components?: an i3-2100 CPU is a must due to budget.

- Any spare parts you can re-use?: I don't need a GPU or keyboard/mouse.

- Overclocking your processor?: Impossible

- Need an Operating System?: Yes

- Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard?: Monitor yes.

- Need a Wireless Card or Adapter? No.

- Need Another Component? (Specify): No.

Other Useful Info

- Preferred Case Features (Ex: Color, Side Window, Flashy): Black or white, plain looking.

- Number of Monitors: 1

- Other Info?: Basically I need a new kit from scratch except for gpu and keyboard/mouse and wifi. Ram, hhd, optical, ps, monitor, os, mobo are all needed.

Any help would be swell.

in low budget you can make an amd build that will out perform intel

Assuming you own a gpu which is why you dont need one

if you need a gpu or plan on using integrated graphics

or if you are dead set on doing a full size desktop you really don't have much of a budget once you include the os/monitor

so with that in mind since you can't get a video card this is a much better deal than going with the i3-2100 since its graphics capabilities suck.

prebuilts are terrible to upgrade. they would need to buy another power supply to the computer because the one inside isn't going to provide enough power.
your other link is different for everyone. take a screen shot.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I have a gpu my brother gave me after he had upgraded.

I stated that i'm leaning towards the sandy i3. Any reason you chose the fx-6300 instead? I'd like to avoid OC'ing simply because im a newb.

I also need an OS.
