This is just from a build I did last January off of Newegg.

Would I need to upgrade my cpu/mobo for a better gfx card? Also, currently looking for a bigger power supply, better fans and more internal memory.

you don't just slap ore power into a computer, your current likely doesn't even hit 60ow.

efficiency > wattage claimed.

mobo is fine.

ahh.
no need for a new cpu & mobo for a better graphics card.

bigger doesn't mean better , you need a major brand one that the internals aren't junk, unless you don't mind bsod's.
more then 8gb of ram is useless for gaming btw.

My wife does a lot of video editing and such for work, that's mainly the reason I need to upgrade the computer. I should have specified sooner.

it's not too bad , tho it's not the greatest unit.
you don't need a new psu.

upgrade your cpu to this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117288
it will render 2 times faster then your current cpu. downside for you is you have a locked multiplier if you want to overclock.

get this graphics card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133466

cuda cores help with video editing.

i'd rather recommend to get a xeon with a locked multiplier over a i7 tbh.
