Ghot's build makes sense. However you could save money by getting a cheaper case/power supply setup.

Here's what I'd personally recommend, however it goes even more expensive:

That's $500 before you pick the graphics card. Then I'd recommend you choose the best possible graphics card you can, starting at the 6850 (being $160), and working your way up:
6850: $160
6870: $180-$200
6950 1GB: $230-240
6950 2GB: $270-300
6970 2GB: $330-350

The build is good, minus the crappy PSU. And the fact that it's $50 over budget before shipping.

u could always get a dvd driver + hdd combo to save up some money ghot , rest is perfect :P

can anyone find me maybe a cooler looking tower with a power supply combo like what ghot listed, for around the same price

Aesthetics are not as important as functionality. Sure you can find one that may look cooler, however for that price it is one of the best around.
