Hey i have old omen hp laptop

OMEN by HP – 15-dc0016nw

its only 8 gb ram ddr4 but there is additional slot for ram and i was looking to buy 8 gb more but i dont exectly know what model
also can you tell me if this model has place for additional ssd ?

Try this https://www.crucial.com/store/advisor to Search for your laptop, looks like they have compatibility recommendations. Maybe find something w a good return policy in case it doesn’t work for u.

Usually better to buy a new mem kit instead of mixing, u can go up to 32gb

You should verify if ur motherboard has m2 slot for ssd otherwise u can just replace your sata hdd with a sata ssd. Make sure to get the Right size ssd.

Looks like stock ram is 2666 cl 19 1.2v

Adding another 8gb stick, whether or not it's better, will be downclocked to same spec as the original stick.

Adding 1x 8gb 2666/19-19-19-43/1.2v Teamgroup stick from Amazon ($15.99) should work fine without compatibility issues.
