pcpartpicker.com for the best prices.

reddit is probably also a good place to look for a build.

pc part picker is terrible, it's not updated frequently & doesn't keep in mind if the parts are in stock or not.

Alright guys I'm ready.
The plan:

1. Have you lovely people build me a computer with parts found here: http://www.ncix.ca/
2. I will then pick a build a print out a list to bring to the store in person.
3. Hopefully things go to plan and I can have them order me the parts (if they do not have them in stock) and I pick them up directly at the store.
( I will probably call them on Monday to make sure things can be done that way. I know you guys told me it can but I just want to be 100% sure ofc :P )
4. My buddy will be coming over to help me put it together.
5. I post pictures on jsp to show a great success.
6. ...
7. Profit.

UPDATE!

Budget: $1,800 CAD
More specific use (what games, what programs): I'll most likely be trying any game out there and streaming.
Planned time until purchase: Sometime hopefully between the 28th - 1st
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes. Windows 7.
Do you have any specific preferred components?: INTEL PLEASE. NOT AMD. I thought I wanted 16gbs of ram but everyone is telling me it's pointless.
I have 8gb on my laptop and I use half of it constantly and don't do much. I'm scared 8gb won't be enough. You tell me. I also want a SSD.

Do you need a sound or wireless card?: I don't have one.. so.. I guess? :/
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: I do not plan on OC
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Yes, Yes, Yes.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Toronto

Get this and then go ahead and pricematch @ NCIX and pay for them to build it.

AMD 8350 is better @ streaming for the price than the 3570k and cheaper

I'll keep this noted.
Still going to wait on what others come up with or what others have to say about this build.
More opinions the better :P

I appreciate it though. Thanks a lot.

Ah yes I should have commented on that.
I think I decided to just go with 16gb like I originally wanted.
I'm too nervous with getting 8gb though I think anything more than 16 is pretty unnecessary.

I have 3 computers

8350 w/ a 7870 xt
3570k w/ a 7950
6300 w/ a 7870 ghz

8 gigs of ram in all of them and I can video edit/ photo edit/ game... run multiple programs (5 poe on the 3570k) np... I don't see any point in getting more than 8 unless you plan on running even more then 5 games...

Do you have any idea then why on my laptop I'm always using like 4-5gb when I don't do much?
For example right now I have Chrome,Vent,Aim and Twitch open watching a stream and I'm using 3.4gb just from that alone.

If I run a game with twitch It's basically impossible I feel :/

I'll keep it in mind though.
Also a buddy of mine put this together: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/qoou/saved/1EjS
If anybody wants to comment on this that'd be great to.

Edit: Oh and how come i5 and not i7 btw? I'm curious.
