It'll do that... I'd plan on upgrading soonish though... I think PoE is a demanding game when partied (spells n such), idk if they fixed that? I haven't played it in a while.

Well  I can play it now on my POS 4 year old laptop that I used for 12+ hours a day since I had it :)
Im sure the build will handle it even on minimal settings :3

thanks guys

"(potentially have £50 spare to potentially upgrade)"

I'm sure there will be "proper" upgrading if the budget were higher. :P

Even w/o a proper upgrade why did no one suggest the 965... it's only like 20-30$ more than the athlon.. and a mobo to use it would be the same price.. huge processor upgrade and the 640 could be upgraded to the AMD next gen for like 20-30$ more and you won't have any bottlenecks.

That's the rest of her system. I don't think you can pick up a 965 for ~40 bucks.

Its all ordered in parts in a local business (they are going to put it together for me also) so technically its prebuilt :)
I can chose the parts completely. but because I am hands up a noob at this, Im asking you guys your opinion.
This is my second build ever, first was in 2005. and that was a very basic pc :)

you should consider a APU with fast ram instead and get a hd 6670 when you have the funds for hybrid crossfire , or a better graphics card if you start playing more demanding games.

/e that's what i would recommend

- Case: BitFenix Merc Beta Tower Case - Black
- Power Supply: Corsair CX 430w PSU
- CPU: A10 5800k
- Motherboard: fm2 a75 Chipset motherboard ( msi , asus , gigabyte or asrock)
- Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212+ / cooler master hyper 212 evo ( depending on which one is cheaper)
- RAM: /8GB/ 2400MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit
- Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6 G/Bs 64 mb
- Graphics Card: onboard
- Sound: Onboard 7.1 Audio
- Optical Drive: cheapest dvd burner OEM
