op, are you in college/university? you can get windows for cheap at the book store. sometimes for free. i dont even know why im bringing this up when the budget is $1800.

imo, go to ncix to buy all your parts and pay then $50 to build and install windows on the computer for you. i did this. was worth it. if you're in scarborough, you have a couple of locations.

My plan was to go to a store to get it built for me so I will prob end up doing that.
If somebody makes a list for me with parts though do you think I could take that into the store and they'd have them or could get them ordered?

Only reason I was going to buy the parts online was because I worried that I wouldn't be able to get exactly what I wanted/needed.

nah just go to ncix, theyll take care of you. we can give you builds here. a lot better for your money than what theyll suggest for you.

it would be best to bump or make a new thread three days before you buy. sales change frequently.

I know this. I actually often go there, the salesman I was with gave me the best parts possible which I appreciated.
My friend went there though and I told him he could have gotten way better for his money.
Why don't they get you the best for your money anyways.
