I start working on may 1st, so my first pay check should be the following week.
I've always wanted to build myself a decent gaming PC but I never went through with the idea.
I would prefer spending around 700-1100$ max
Thing is, I've never built a computer in my life so I have no idea how to do this. Should I go against the idea because of that or it's relatively easy to do?

What I want :
- Play League of Legends and World of Warcraft with decent fps
- Decent memory space to store some of my work/school projects
- Decent RAM, Graphic card, etc. :P

I've heard from a couple friends that with a budget like that, I can build up a desktop that would never cause me a problem, but I just don't know where to order stuff/what parts to get.
I'm Canadian, from New-Brunswick so international shipping might be expensive, rather stay away from that.

Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Canada

If you're ready, plan on buying within several days as deals/prices can and will change fairly often.

Budget: 700-1100$ CAN
More specific use (what games, what programs): WoW, League of Legends, Photoshop cs5, Pokerstars, Movies, tv shows.
Planned time until purchase: 3-4 weeks
Do you need an Operating System?: Anyone would mind explaining what this does/why I would need one or not?
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Enough to run the games at a decent fps
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Both preferred if they are at a reasonable price, but wireless isn't necessary.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Prefer stock unless overclocking is the best option, then I would have to read on how to do it properly.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Not at the moment, will probably buy better ones separately once the desktop is built.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Canada - Edmundston, New Brunswick

Can provide my postal code if it's really necessary but would rather keep that via PM.

Anything else? Thanks for the help, didn't check those guidelines before posting :P Sorry.

I understand the prices variations but I just want to see what I could potentially get for my money once I actually have it haha.

I understand that the prices can vary, and I'm sorry if this is a pain for you guys.
I can re-post at a later date but I wanted to know what I could potentially get for my money, like stated above.

Moderators can close the thread, thanks guys.

Thanks :)

OS: you know this as windows.
overclocking : something that you don't really need to do unless your cpu is holding back your system's performance... i wouldn't bother with overclocking personally unless i had 2 graphics cards in my computer or i did some cpu heavy tasks and i need more cpu power ( ex: running several virtual machines at the same time)
/e ppl ask if you're overclocking because they would put in their build an aftermarket cooler ( which is better then stock cooling) . you don't need to overclock to get aftermarket cooling, if you want your cpu to run cooler ( which is good)

Haha, noted. Thanks man, I'll just track this thread and bump it once I start getting paid :)
