Budget:$2000 Canadian
More specific use (what games, what programs): Any game currently out at max settings, will be used as solely a gaming computer more then likely as I have both a laptop and a desktop already.
Planned time until purchase:To be determined based on price and parts and ect
Do you need an Operating System?: No
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Not really
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Not really needed.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:I dont plan on overclocking
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: None or to be picked up at a later date
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):Ontario

I went to Canada computers and someone there helped me work out what I posted.http://www.canadacomputers.com/
I asked for something that I would be able to play anything on with max settings and taking into consideration games that may come out in the next few years.

What are the main differences between the one you posted and the one I originally picked?

the cpu is overkill. you wont benefit more from the i7 in gaming compared to an i5
you need a reliable psu
you dont need more than 8gb of ram. 8gb of ram is actually overkill
the ssd is alright but id much rather have a vertex 4
the gpu is probably the only thing you wouldnt need to change
case is totally up to you

So you cant see the i7 helping even in a year or so?
What makes the posted psu unreliable?
And I have been told that about the ram though ive figured it might be worth it not having to worry about it ever

1. no
2. not too common brand, unknown unit , just forget it.
3, more ram doesn't do anything, 8gb is already overkill for most people today, so don't think about it...

if you plan on doin heavy video/music/photo editing then the i7 would be great. if not, its not worth the money.
sorry havent been doin my homework on that psu, but damn its fuckin expensive. you can get the same quality psu for way cheaper
its the same situation with the i7. if the computer is purely for gaming, 16gb is just a waste of money.

Okay fair enough would you have any suggestions for the psu? Odds are I will be picking everything up from http://www.canadacomputers.com/ at the in store location by me.
If I went with a i5 I would have to grab a different motherboard aswell right?
