This is what I have come up with.
I plan on building this mainly to play Skyrim and Battlefield 3 with high/max settings., not planning on doing any photoshop/video editing if that matters.
Someone suggested crossfire with that card but is it really necessary or does one card do the job well enough?
Anyone have any tips or thoughts about this build?
Any help is appreciated.

It's not that bad, just needs some adjustment.

Your psu is a poor choice, it's not a quality unit, and that's the most important part of a pc. If it goes down, it could potentially take down the rest of the pc with it. I'd suggest an 850w psu to give you some room for growth (adding a second 6950 etc).

P67 is sort of dated, especially when using SSD's. Get a good Z68 board, like the MSI Z68A GD65 G3 (or the less expensive GD55 G3).

Your SSD choice is fine, but since your budget is a little higher, you might want to get either Crucial M4's or Corsair GT's...both are faster and both are reliable, quality SSD's.

DDR3 1600 MHz Ram is the sweet spot, just switch to some Vengeance kit, and 16GB isn't necessary unless you plan on doing a lot of photo work, video editing, PS work, CAD work etc...but if that's the case then you would also want to switch your CPU to a 2600K for the Hyper Threading, but you've already stated you won't be, so an 8GB Kit is all you need.

Case is a personal preference, just be sure it will house all the components properly and keep them well ventilated.

Depends on which Sapphire 6950 that is, but it will be fine. An alternative if you keep your pc's for a while between upgrades would be the Non Reference PCB XFX model w/ dual fans, it comes with a lifetime warranty. Also, a single card will play the game well (BF3), but dual cards and the CPU Over Clocked to 4.0 or > will yield the best results.

Be sure to get an Aftermarket CPU cooler for the 2500K - A Hyper 212+ is a quality air cooler, and H100 is a good AIO unit but a little more pricey, but looks good in most cases too...

Well I want quality and performance at the cheapest price.
Thoughts on "Kingston DDR3 HyperX T1 1600MHz 3x4gb" ?
One of the cheaper I found, I want to have room to play with as well so 12gb is ok.
What brand psu do you recommend? Struggling to find a quality one with a nice price tag.
Thanks for great respond!

Like I said you could get the GD55 board instead to save a few $$...the main difference is SATA ports and other minor things. That kit of Ram is a Tri Channel kit meant for the older 1366 socket from Intel...You want Dual channel kits, and I'll repeat, you do not need more then 8GB of Ram. You want a 2x 4GB Kit, DDR3 1600.

Quality PSU's would be Corsair, Seasonic, Rosewill Hive and Capstone units only, OCZ Zx Zt Zs series, pc power & cooling...would help if you gave us a link to the site you are using too, we can point out some for you.

GD55 actually costs more from where I am buying, not much but like 10$ more.
I use this site.
http://www.komplett.no/k/k.aspx
Biggest in Norway on computer parts.

Wil try and look up some memory and psu then.

haha that's funny...lesser board = more money...not sure why that is lol...

This would be a good psu...if you have it in your budget spend a few $$ more to get the modular version:

Yea that's the one I currently picked.

Check if you can see that list.
The ram should be ok I think.

/Modular means that you can remove the unwanted wiring?
As far as I understood..

Yea that looks fine...if you plan on keeping your pc for a while you might grab this 6950 instead:

http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=639513#extra

I don't understand the site, but I think that's the correct version that comes with a lifetime warranty.

And yes, modular means less cables, use only what you need.
