So I cleaned my pc (took everything out, blasted with air compressor, put back together) and put it on top of my desk instead of tucked down on the floor next to an air vent (caked it with dust so quick, but kept it cool)
Now I have to keep a window a/c on 24/7 or it's like a sauna in here.
Aside from putting it back on the floor, what can I do to cool this pig down?

This is my case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119265
Currently do not have fan mounted to top because the 200mm fan hits the top of the hyper 212, it also apparently looks like I may have my hyper 212 facing the wrong direction (mistake I made when it was first pc I built over 5 years ago)
This is what this case allows:
Top: 1 x 200mm fan (optional) --> Do not have
Front: 2 x 120mm XtraFlo fan (installed; 1200 RPM, 17 dBA) or 2 x 140mm fan (optional)
Rear: 1 x 120mm fan or 1 x 80mm fan (optional) --> Do not have
I'm thinking add the 120mm fan, see if a 200mm low profile fan exists, and add a second fan to the hyper 212, and possibly turn it the right direction (I'm afraid to, every time I remove parts something stops functioning correctly, cleaning it even caused issues with crashing lolol) -> maybe upgrade the 2 front fans to a higher rpm and go to 140mm?
This thing is loud as fuck also, so I need to buy silent fans.

ty gents

/e I would just get a normal case. I've been reading the .pdf for that case and I suspect it has too many crossed airflow directions to cool the computer properly.

I would definitely turn the CPU cooler so IT'S air flow is towards the rear exhaust.

As for the heat...two vid cards will definitely help create a lot of heat. I think the Corsair 540 AIR did a better job of the cube case air flow.

All comps put out heat.

I don't think the 200mm fan is gonna help anyways. I really think, you should consider a new case.

There could be something I'm missing about they way the air flow in the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO is supposed to work. But no matter how I look at it, it seems like it has to many cross purpose air flow paths.

/e Think about that 540 Air in the pic above. It has two front intakes, rear exhaust and two top exhaust. If we were to put a 200mm fan on the left SIDE of the 540 Air...that would be more like your case.

The difference would be that in your CM case, there would need to be two exhausts on...the right side of the CM case, to have the same air flow over the motherboard.

/ee Picture your CM case tilted up so it was resting on it's left side. Then you can see it lacks the 2x top exhausts that the 540 Air has. Adding a 200mm to the CM case would be like putting a 200mm on the left side of the 540 Air.

It is the same amount of heat that it would be in any other case it is just concentrated.

Here, I just turned your case into a 540 Air.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you can mount fans there.. :/

/e Like I said, I don't think the 200mm fan will help. But your temps seem OK, and all comps/cases exhaust heat.

I would definitely turn that CPU cooler though, so it's 'in the line of air flow' between the front intakes and the rear exhaust.

I'll just rig them and put like 20 80mm fans on each side! lmao

I do plan on turning the cooler, I'm just afraid to lol. I gotta order up some thermal paste before I do that.
It's cooking my gfx card
