The purpose of this topic is for EVERYONE to be able to compare their computers. Desktops or Laptops, godly or crappy. The Unigine Heaven Benchmark, is older. It will ONLY test your Vid Card. It will ONLY test one Vid Card no matter how many you have. It doesn't matter if your CPU is overclocked or not.

This is just for FUN, fun for EVERYONE, not just the folks with the godly computers. Everyone can run this benchmark.

You can download it here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2205/unigine-heaven-dx11-benchmark-4-0/

For those who want the newer Valley benchmark, which will detect multiple GPU's and run the CPU as well, we have another topic, that uses the Unigine Valley benchmark here:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=68291879&f=188&o=0

Atm, the Geforce TITAN is the fastest single GPU vid card...which I've posted the results of below. When the new AMD GPU's arrive, they can run either benchmark to compare to the Geforce TITAN.

Please enjoy this topic...no matter how old or dying your desktop or laptop is, you can post your Unigine Heaven benchmarks here to compare to others with any kind of desktop or laptop.
ONLY RULE IS: When you run the Unigine Heaven benchmark, you must use the EXTREME setting.
:)

Thx for the bump...I'm hoping those with NON godly comps will have a place to compare. This benchmark is fair to everyone, even if they bought an HP :)

This is the difference between the Valley and the Heaven benchmarks:

Valley:

Extreme hardware stability testing
Per-frame GPU temperature and clock monitoring
Advanced visual technologies: dynamic sky, volumetric clouds, sun shafts, DOF, ambient occlusion
Multi-Platform support for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X
64 000 000 square meters of extremely detailed, seamless terrain
Procedural object placement of vegetation and rocks
The entire valley is free to be explored in interactive fly-by or hike-through modes
User-controlled dynamic weather
Detection of multiple GPUs
Support for stereo 3D and multi-monitor configurations
Benchmarking presets
Command line automation support
Highly customizable reports in CSV format

Heaven:

Extreme hardware stability testing
Accurate results due to 100% GPU-bound benchmarking
Benchmarking presets for convenient comparison of results
Support for DirectX 9, DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0
Multi-Platform support for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X
Comprehensive use of hardware tessellation, with adjustable settings
Dynamic sky with volumetric clouds and tweakable day-night cycle
Real-time global illumination and screen-space ambient occlusion
Cinematic and interactive fly/walk-through camera modes
Support for multi-monitor configurations
Various stereo 3D modes
GPU temperature and clock monitoring
Command line automation support
Highly customizable reports in CSV format
Support for software rendering mode in DirectX 11 for reference purposes
Support for English, Russian and Chinese languages

Not OC'd

Min FPS doubled after updating GPU Driver, average was unchanged.

As you can see, this will run on anything...so even if you have a 4 year old Dell...post em up...there are many others with similar comps.

System Requirements

For hardware tessellation both a video card with DirectX 11 / OpenGL 4.0 support and MS Windows Vista / 7 / 8 or Linux are required!
Hardware:

GPU:
ATI Radeon HD 4xxx and higher
NVIDIA GeForce 8xxx and higher
Intel HD 3000 and higher
Video memory: 512 Mb
Disk space: 1 Gb

Operating system:

MS Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8
Linux (proprietary video drivers required)

Good now others, with older comps will have something to compare to :)

/e Remember this Benchmark ONLY tests the vid card in your comp. So others can use this to determine which vid card they want to buy or upgrade to as well. :)

Even if your computer looks like this...post your benchmarks. Others will learn from this.

/e Well maybe remove the dead rodent first :)
