I want to reformat my SSD and do a clean install of Windows 7.

Will this significantly degrade my SSD? It's a pretty new one.. only a few months old.

no it won't hurt your drive (and you don't need to binary wipe, it is a waste of time, unless you are trying to hide something). Just do a quick format and you'll be fine..... just make sure you download your networking drivers onto something external first (like a flash drive) so you don't have to deal with that nightmare.

I would download all drivers before reinstall.

network driver all u should need. get that and find the rest later lots auto detect once online. unless you are really particular about the driver you get
