i'm not one of those people who keep up with the cutting edge of hardware, but in my humble opinion that does not sound like the model number of a motherboard...
/e i guess what i'm trying to say is this: I bet there are a lot of different motherboards that use that chipset, and i bet they don't all have the same Ethernet adapters. So I'm guessing you need to figure out who manufactured the motherboard, and its model number and download the Ethernet adapter software from them. If you just built it, look at the box and you should be able to get that info (and look for the driver disk in the box while you're at it).
