So i got my pc all built but no internet works on it. It says no network adapter is present? Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Intel z77 motherboard. Already went to intel/Microsoft website to dl LAN Network adapters, didn't do anything. Downloaded Chipset drivers and then a restart and landscaping drivers again. Any suggestions?

figure out who made the network adapter (or if it was included in motherboard). Then go to website of the manufacturer and download the drivers for it (on a working computer).

/e actually... your motherboard should have come with a disk with drivers on it.... use that for now

It probably came with a disk but i can't find it for the life of me it'd intel z77.ill check the website. Thx

i'm not one of those people who keep up with the cutting edge of hardware, but in my humble opinion that does not sound like the model number of a motherboard...

/e i guess what i'm trying to say is this: I bet there are a lot of different motherboards that use that chipset, and i bet they don't all have the same Ethernet adapters. So I'm guessing you need to figure out who manufactured the motherboard, and its model number and download the Ethernet adapter software from them. If you just built it, look at the box and you should be able to get that info (and look for the driver disk in the box while you're at it).
