My 19" Viewsonic monitor (4:3) has no 4:3 resolutions between 1280x1024 and 1600x1200

1280x1024 is too big and 1600x1200 is too small for my eyes. The newest nVidia drivers will allow me to make custom resolutions...aka...1480x1110...which is also 4:3...and which would prolly be just about right...but then gives me like 2 pages of warnings on how doing so might fry my monitor...LOL

Looks like I'll be calling Viewsonic on Monday

well I don't HAVE to...but it a lot easier on my eyes.... :/

Looks like it may be time to upgrade monitor tho....I just set desktop to all white....and noticed...that I have the D2 "chat channel" image burnt into screen :/

CRT's have an annoying flicker, after switching to LCD I can't stand looking at a CRT.

LOL bro I can run up to 170 refresh rate at 1280x1024....so I gots no flicker....I only run it at 85hz tho

but like i said....




Normally I don't see it thru the nicotine on the screen...the burn in is exactly the same color
