why that motherboard anyways? its kinda expensive due to sli?
get non sli p67 board and save money.
the non sli versions are practically just as good
what are u gonna get 100mhz more on the deluxe version?

mobo overkill

1333MHz RAM... this stuff is better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428&cm_re=g.skill_1600_8gb-_-20-231-428-_-Product

stock cooler GTX 580... this one is better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127567&cm_re=gtx_580-_-14-127-567-_-Product

Asus P8P67 DELUXE and yet you pick a Hyper 212+ as the cooler?

I have a feeling you posted this build simply because you've had a boner for that Corsair case lately.

If you put a cheaper case into the build ($60 case) and got an Asus P8P67 Pro or equivalent motherboard, for the same price one could have an i7 2600k in that build instead. And would the build have a greater chance of breaking? Of course not. But there'd be more performance ^_^

Gordon Ma Ung of Max PC said 1333 RAM is sweet spot...he's always right.
Case is not over priced watch the video above...it's worth every penny
and like I said Asus Deluxe boards just don't have problems ^^

best of all...next year slap in a SSD and another 580 and a 1200W Corsair PSU...and you'll be rockin this build for 5-6 years ^^

found vid of the white case...also it will take 4x 120mm side fans as well...but won't need them with single card :)

Gordon Mah Ung. LOL. I had to call in and correct him on the podcast.

1333 is not the sweet spot.

Try 1700 6/7/6 and then tell me.
