moving tomorrow into a new place and need a new router.

been looking at the Linksys E2000 but reviews ive been reading either Glorify it or completely destroy it.

to help you out heres a little information about what i need it for and why I was leaning towards the E2000

the E2000 supports the 5Ghz band which is great considering i live in a college town and with all the different wireless routers in apartments interfering with my own i drop signal a lot (im actually having to retype this because my signal was dropped when i posted and it wouldnt reload the new topic page)
with 5Ghz band if this is an issue at my new place again i could run on the separate band and not have to deal with everyone elses routers interfering.

The devices that the router will be supporting are 2 Computers, an Xbox 360, a PS3, ipod touch and a Blackberry.

router needs to be Mac friendly (not that thats a huge deal these days)

any and all suggestions are more than welcome and i thank you in advance.

forgive me if anything i said in the above text is incorrect or just plain out stupid.

Waste of money, you're paying for a name. Get a regular router, your precious apple products will work on a Linksys just as well as an Airport.

They're just computers with some proprietary software and hardware, computers all the same. Compared to PCs they're a colossal waste :(

i seriously doubt its the same warranty as a new one, refurb warranties are often 90 days, 120 if your lucky

IMO get one on newegg, you get excellent customer service and a 30-day return policy if it doesnt work, stay away from frys, 14 day exchange? fuck that

but seriously, if your having that much of an issue, you either need to look into changing the channel on the router, setting up security, ETC, from my room i can pick up probably 12 different wifi networks, 3 of which come from my own routers, and i never have issues even broadcasting 3 wifi networks from the same 10 foot radius
