They pushed i.e.7 onto our work computers last night (yes, we were using i.e.6 till today) and my comp is acting like a dog.

example: I roll my mouse scroll button and it takes 3 seconds till the window scrolls. Stuff loads slowly. Internet loads slowly and freezes alot.

Is it the processor or the memory that is coming up short?

Runnin XP pro on a machine with 1 GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86 GHz

No, I can't use any other browser
No, I can't upgrade to any later version of i.e.
Nor can I do anything else that requires admin priv.
Basically all I can do is buy some memory and put it in if it'll help.

is there a way to completely wipe all IE related files

then install a fresh ie7 on a clean folder, ?
