When you build your computer, I know there is that static problem. I will be building on a wooden floor/table. How do I discharge myself and how do I hold the peices.

Plug in your PSU with the powerswitch off. Touch the PSU box. Grats, you're discharged. You can also get an anti-static wristband, but that's not necessary. As with any computer guts, handle with care. Discharge yourself occasionally and it won't be an issue. Obviously don't work on carpet with wool socks or some nonsense. Just exercise good judgement and you'll be fine.

get a balloon and rub it on your hair for 5 minutes and you're ready to go.

(dont take it seriously, i feel bad and dont want to be responsible)
