about two years ago i bought a seagate barracuda st3500320as 500 gb hd with firmware sd15 - ran fine for almost a year then just randomly bricked, so i returned it and got a new one. after about another year with the drive it bricked again this morning out of nowhere, so i did a little googleing and i guess the sd15 firmware has a bug that bricks the drive randomly @ bootup. my question is, is it possible to flash the drive to a newer firmware and un-brick it? it spins up and everything just fine, couldnt find a y/n answer on google :/ - if anyone knows how to fix it or if it can be fixed at all i would greatly appreciate some help. plz lmk
