I'm looking into possibly buying a SSD for my inspiron who's HD died.

I've been looking at the Transcend TS32GSSD25S-M 2.5" 32GB SATA MLC Internal Solid state disk (SSD) which seems like a good choice but I don't know if its compatible or if it even plugs in.

I'll check if it can plug in later today.

.... your HD died so your' getting a new HD with 32 gb of space to replace it?

Guess storage isn't prioirty anymore nowadays..

That'd fit like the operating system and a couple extras..

yup 32gig, it isn't... I had only been using about 50 out of my 220 HD, I just need an OS and a I could probably just buy a Express card with extra memory on it.
I got both HD's on their way, the replacement for my old one (Seagate 5400.400, Momentus something 250GB) and the SSD I changed to a Kingston SSDNow V-Series SNV125-S2BN it has 64 gigs, and has the power pins so I know it fits.

Let me check if the Transcend fits for sure.. I forgot to check that yesterday.

That trandecsend fits my Inspiron 1525, it has 22 connection points, 2 sets one of 7 the other of 15. My hard drive has that + 4 for power, the laptop lacks the power and well basically it fits this image perfectly.
