Are you using AS5? That stuff's antiquated and a good amount of curing time.

What's AS5?

it's Arctic Silver...not a very good choice anymore...200 hour curing time...and it dries out.

I use this, got no complaints, good temps, never hardens and zero curing time.

Is there a program that allows me to create a diagram of the cpu temperature?
Would like to follow it, thanks

It is, but the part that goes on top of the processor didn't look like that

well just take the CPU cooler off and clean the thermal compound off, and re-apply it...it probably came with one of the Coolermaster Thermal compounds.

Since most of the ppl get better temps with the 212 EVO...that would be my guess...apparently you got the 16K 212 EVO...and the one with exposed heat pipes is the 20k ??

The European version has the same base as the other, as far as I could see, but a slower fan.

Does anyone question this Ivy Bridge's factory applied thermal compound of which is under the C.P.U.'s I.H.S.?
