Assuming 2x 4GB sticks of RAM you want the RAM in the configuration numbered 1 or 2.... Either A1 and B1  .....or A2 and B2  ....AI is the one closest to the CPU.

I have the first ram card in the A1 and the second in B1.

Good job :)

If you ever get a 3rd party CPU cooler....and it interferes with the RAM, just move the RAM to slots....A2 and B2, coz sometimes the CPU cooler will block the A1 slot.

Thanks! Do you think one of my cords could be faulty or something? Everything is in the right spot and as for the usb ports, they're working perfectly. When I go to plug in my headphones into the headphones jack, it makes a scratchy noise as if it's working but the sound still comes through the T.V. monitor and not the headphones themselves.

I'll keep that in mind!

Oh, in that case....go to the Volume Icon (in the lil popup, over by the clock in the task bar), right click it and choose Playback Devices, that will open a Window...where you can choose which device plays w/e sound ur trying to hear.

Awesome. I'm using the headphones now which are working, but only through the right ear bud. Everything seems to be turned up and balanced. Hmmmm

check the jack itself...wiggle it a lil, pull in and out a tad, stop all motion when left ear licks in :)
