lol No. Crytek said Crysis 2 would be way better than Cry 1 but in all honesty, Cry 2 was too Hollywood shooter while Cry 1 was all about realism.

Here are some ideas on how a 690 handles these games. All these we will compare a 690 for a benchmark test.

http://www.guru3d.com/imageview.php?image=39945 Crysis 2 - 93 FPS
http://www.guru3d.com/imageview.php?image=39951 Battlefield 3 - 99 FPS
http://www.guru3d.com/imageview.php?image=39944 Metro 2033 - 67 FPS

As you can tell Metro 2033 is much more demanding that either BF3 or Cry 2 and Cry 1 is far more demanding as I will post next. Mind you this is a 690 (Dual 680 GPU setup) so even a 690 maxes the game but barley on Metro. A 460 might be able to play on the lowest settings at a low resolution. Nvidia cards are > at lower resolutions while ATI > at higher resolutions.

Metro is also incredibly unoptimized. You have to take metro benches with a grain of salt.

460 SE runs at 32 FPS - Crysis Warhead

460 SE runs at 15 FPS - Metro 2033 Last Refuge

Or use this for your CPU bottleneck: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/2

I was unaware of that but Grief knows more than me so go with what he says.

Well here are pre-benched numbers: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/618?vs=555

enter your gpu and the game or compare you GPU to another. Such as my OC'd 7970 (Closest was GHz edition) vs. a 680. They go back and forth between which one runs any number of games better. IMO it's very even.

So do we have a video game thread yet? I thought about starting one with all the latest VG gossip.

had a couple system crashes closer to 900MHz, seems okay at 860MHz though. i've been running 850MHz on all games so i think i'm good here.
really just need to get a new cpu, this one aint cutting it.

did like 10 benchmark runs on batman with max settings except physX is on the normal setting, tesselation on normal and AA on low.
average about 25-27 FPS

fine the max stable oc on stock volts
bench it find the fps
then find the max safe volts
oc more and find max
then do benches again

if the max oc with max volts is barely
any % increase just run on stock volts

i do 1150/1600 on stock
i know with a lil extra volts i can do 1200/1650
until i get watercooling and get to 1250+
i dont think its worth using the extra volts

Why don't you ever type like normal people and use actually sentences? At the very least use entire lines. Besides that he can go to other forums, look up his GPU, and see what speeds other people are getting to give him an idea of OC numbers.
I agree Heaven is a good benchmark. You can also look here: http://www.overclock.net/t/643993/software-for-quick-gpu-benchmark/0_20
