Wanting a decent gaming laptop that could run anything from world of war craft to path of exile flawlessly.

I don't want to have to replace any parts or buy any extras. Just looking for a laptop that's ready to go straight out of the box.

Also don't have a huge budget looking to spend less than 1000$

well then your heading for dissapointment. Laptops in the < 1000$ segment wont run all games "flawlessly"
What you need is a quad core processor. Minimum i5 6300HQ. Better would be a i7 6700HQ.
And for the grafics card i would say the 980M can run all games at high settings "flawlessly". The 970M is still very good at gaming and with a 960M you would have to settle for medium to low settings.

I was told a Lenovo y700 was a decent one and its anywhere from 700-1000 depending on screen size

yes. it is a resonable laptop. I personally would go with the dell inspiron simply because dell seems to have less issues but never the less it is a good laptop for under 1000 dollar. Simply dont expact it to run games like Fallout 4 at medium setting at 60fps. You just have to settle for fps is in high 30th, low 40th.

then you should be fine. Wow requires next to nothing and Path of Exile wont run "flawlessly" on any setup. But i still recommend looking at the Dell inspiron. It pretty much offers the same performance for 799

Personally i think that Dell has lesser problems with its laptops then lenovo. But thats from what you read online, dont have any reliable data to back that up.
