hey there. I just bought some photo paper in order to print out some photos today. I´m loading the 10x15 photo paper correctly into the printer. I´ve also adjusted the paper width and length guides to fit to the edges of the paper. the HP manual says I should now be ready to print. I chose the fitting layout, the right paper type and hit PRINT! now the printer pulls in the paper, and then says "check paper" and doesnt go on. so basically it seems like the printer has some sort of problem with the paper. I just said "paper" eight times in the past few lines -_-
anyway
does anybody know what I did wrong, or how I can fix this ?

thx in advance.

Next the the layer part where the paper lays, does it also have a in-put part? If so, us that part.
It should work fine by that way. I also have this dumb problem at my collage, those IT guys have to fix it every week (Atleast once a week)

What happens when you put normal paper in the printer? which side does it print on?

Try it, and the side with the printed part is where you need to put your paper. Dont worry printers are nightmares, so many unknown bugs

Some printers can detect the type of paper you stick in them. Check your printer settings, is there an option to change the paper type? If so, make it expect photo paper... I'm not familiar with this specific HP printer, but know of other (even older) models that can do this.
