how much gold does it take to completely gear a level 60 char for pvp?

you can buy cheap pvp gears easily under 20k or so.

the high ones will cost alot and requires crafting mats from rep vendors and etc.

It's simple. You can't buy the best gear in game. You have to farm it and craft yourself. The question is, how much effort does it take. :) The answer: a lot.
