What is the average time it takes YOU to get 25 def to max a characters DEF. What char do you use? Do you farm low/high pop. Servers? Do you use really good gear? Do you trade your other pots for def or drink em or what do you do?

2 days if I have absolutely nothing.

Priest/Necro to start if I have absolutely nothing.

Low population if my character is severely under potted.

It gets better as I go. Right now I only use t10/t5 gear for most characters.

I save all the def and trade anything else I have for def. Once I get around 12-15 def down, I farm dex pots and trade those out for more def until I max it.

priest with t8/t4 gear, nuff said

Once you have enough to max def/spd/dex/atk

make a rogue and farm event bosses (cube/skull shrine/pentaract)

THis is probably the best way to farm gear once you have enough.

After that, the fastest way to farm gear solo is to have a rogue and a few other characters geared enough to do your own tomb runs, and try and get soulbound damage on about 6 characters and farm life pots.

Well that kalle person got a fresh wizard from level 1 to 5/8 or whatever in 6 hours.. Anyway the way I get 25 def for new chars.. is by using my current 4/8 char. When it dies I usually have enough def pots to max def again if I dont then I sell some of the loot he found. The first time though it was from a wizard godlands/oryx with t7/t4 maxed def in a day. Right now I get 20+ pots an hour farming godlands/sprite worlds with wizard (all types not just def). Personally I think using anything but wizard for godlands (or rogue for events) is a waste of time since nothing is faster.

Starting fresh, as I assume this is aimed for

Starting with a fresh wiz, just pick up some shizz in the god lands people drop, farm limon to get dex up and get a good killing speed, maybe a t5 item here and there, go to the godlands, grind.

It depends really.

For instance. I died on my wiz the other day. It took 40 min of rerolling to get my desired stats. Then took me no time to get the def pots as I still had a fully geared archer.

When I started. It took a day or two depending on my luck.

so, by a day are you talking 24 hours play time?

cause 1-2 days seems like nothing for how long its taking me LOL

ive been farming god lands\dungeons (undead lair mostly) and ive probably gotten about 6 pots or so.
